SUBMISSIONS

Summit Comics publishes creator-owned comics within a shared universe. We focus on action, adventure, sci-fi, and character-driven storytelling.

You do. Always. Summit operates on a creator-owned model. We handle publishing, distribution, and promotion — you keep the rights to your work.

It depends. We only accept submissions from a few writers during any given calendar year. For artists, submissions are year-round. If Summit proper, or one of our creator partners is interested in working with you, they will reach out directly. We do review all submissions and aim to respond within a timely manner if we can. Due to volume we cannot provide individual feedback to each submission.

Summit does not publish AI-generated art or writing. All submitted work must be created by human hands.

For writers, there are two tracks: transfer and original. For the transfer track — meaning you want to bring an already-made character and story into the Summit Universe — you must have released no more issues than the number of issues that have been released of Summit: Pinnacle. As of 2026, this means your character/story can only have one issue that has been released. For the original track, submitting lets us know you are interested in developing new characters and stories within the Summit Universe. Again, we are not looking for you to submit your character and story ideas as a part of the submission. Instead, you need to submit a link to a folder of your completed comics so we can read what you have made in the past.
