Nate Schachter is a writer and editor currently based in New Jersey. A Writers of the Future and Negative Space finalist, Nate specializes in character-driven fiction that blends emotional nuance with speculative and inventive elements. His work has appeared with Summit Comics, Orange Cone Productions, Thorny Comics, and Ignite Comics, with additional projects forthcoming. He also publishes independent work under his imprint, The Narrative Shack, where he shares stories and updates via Substack. By day, he works in scholarly and scientific journal publishing.
