A life long reader of comics, Sebastian dreamt of being a comic artist when he grew up. Even got an AA in Fine Art to that end. But, somewhere along the line, Sebastian found his real calling was in writing. That, and his frustration with drawing street clothes and backgrounds prompted him to switch goals (and majors). With a BA in English Lit (with a focus on J.R.R. Tolkien) and an MS. in ENGLISH LIT and SECONDARY ED under his belt, Sebastian began his dual life of Teacher and Writer.
After moving from NY to FL, he began writing in earnest. With stories in anthologies across various genres by multiple publishers he finally had the confidence to publish on his own, putting out several super-hero titles under his SUNDAY KNIGHT COMICS imprint. Sebastian’s love for 70’s and 80’s comics with their quirky pseudo-science and fun, adventure style plus his fondness of the silver age helped set the tone for much of work. It’s that fun feel that he hopes to bring to the SUMMIT UNIVERSE with characters like THE COBALT CRICKET.
